He graduated with distinction at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2000.

He taught industrial design at Universidad Diego Portales (Santiago 2000-2006) and architecture studio at Universidad de Chile (Santiago 2007). Currently he teaches Interior design and object design studio as Associate Professor at Universidad Del Desarrollo (Santiago 2007-2008) where he has also been the Director since 2010.

His independent work has been developed at Tidy Arquitectos founded with his brother Albert Tidy in 2000. The office defines itself as a laboratory for architectural research, where design is approached as a study process that is always in progress.

His furniture design work has received recognition in numerous exhibitions and publications in Chile, and his work at Tidy Architects, published worldwide
